This study aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by video media on the learning outcomes of Grade XI students in the Electrical Installation and Lighting Techniques (TITL) subject. The PjBL model was chosen for its ability to actively engage students through meaningful and challenging project activities, while video media served as a visual and auditory aid to enhance students’ understanding and interest in learning. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach, employing a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were Grade XI TITL students at SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra. Data collection techniques included observation, testing, and documentation. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability before use. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques, including the N-Gain test to measure improvement in learning outcomes. The results showed a significant increase in students’ learning outcomes after the implementation of the PjBL model assisted by video media. The average pretest score was 63.76, while the average posttest score increased to 85.06. The N-Gain score obtained was 0.57, which falls into the moderate category. Additionally, the percentage of students who met the minimum competency criteria (KKM) after the posttest rose to 88.23%. These findings indicate that the implementation of the PjBL model assisted by video media is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in the topic of electrical lighting installation.
