    Vol. 2 No. 1 (2026) Journal of Electrical Vocational Education (JEVE) presents a collection of studies highlighting current innovations and challenges in electrical vocational education. The issue explores the application of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Project-Based Learning (PjBL) to enhance students’ critical and creative thinking, learning outcomes, and practical competencies, alongside studies on students’ perceptions of work-based learning experiences. Several articles emphasize the integration of digital technologies into vocational learning through Google Assistant, simulation, instructional video, and virtual laboratory platforms, while other studies address the development of instructional materials and training media for air-conditioning and electrical installation practices. The issue also examines occupational safety practices in electrical workshops and explores the role of Artificial Intelligence in supporting students’ conceptual understanding during practical report preparation. Collectively, these contributions demonstrate the growing integration of innovative pedagogical approaches, digital technologies, and competency-oriented learning to strengthen the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of electrical vocational education

    Vol. 1 No. 2 (2025): November features eleven scholarly articles that explore a wide range of innovations in electrical engineering vocational education. This issue highlights the implementation of various instructional approaches, including Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Think-Pair-Share (TPS), Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD), and Peer Tutoring, integrated with digital learning technologies such as Google Sites, Baamboozle, Adobe Animate, and GitHub Repository–based software development activities in project-oriented learning environments. In addition, the issue presents studies on the readiness of Electrical Engineering Education students to become competent vocational high school teachers, thereby contributing to the advancement of innovative pedagogical practices, the integration of digital technologies, and the continuous improvement of vocational education quality in response to the evolving demands of industry and the digital transformation of education

    Vol. 1 No. 1 (2025): June Edition was published in June 2025 and features articles focusing on vocational learning innovations in the field of electrical engineering. The primary contributions come from researchers at Universitas Negeri Padang, addressing topics such as project-based learning supported by Simurelay, the development of an electropneumatic training kit, augmented reality-based media, as well as analyses of students’ work readiness and the effectiveness of cooperative learning models in vocational high schools (SMK). In addition, this edition includes an English-language article resulting from international collaboration between authors from Indonesia and abroad, thereby enriching the global perspective on vocational education development.
