Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Instalasi Motor Listrik

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Instalasi Motor Listrik kelas XI Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik (TITL) di SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa disebabkan adanya perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman materi antar siswa. Sebagian siswa mampu memahami materi dengan cepat, sedangkan sebagian lainnya mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep motor listrik dan praktik instalasi. Selain itu, penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang digunakan guru masih belum optimal karena tidak semua siswa memperoleh kesempatan belajar yang merata, sehingga hasil belajar belum maksimal. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang menekankan kerja sama antar siswa dalam kelompok heterogen untuk saling membantu dan memahami materi secara menyeluruh.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Pre-Experimental Design menggunakan bentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI TITL di SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi tahun ajaran 2025/2026 yang berjumlah 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar (pretest dan Posttest), serta instrumen penilaian keterampilan praktik dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa.
Data hasil pretest dan Posttest dianalisis menggunakan deskripsi, normalized gain score dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil observasi, aktivitas dan keterampilan siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dengan kategori baik hingga sangat baik. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Instalasi Motor Listrik kelas XI TITL di SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi.
